Cathy Dunlap is Vice President of Lodging for Enchanted Parks, overseeing operations for The Great Escape Lodge & Indoor Water Park (Queensbury, NY); Water’s Edge Inn and Old Forge Camping Resort (Old Forge, NY); and Villages of Fun Campground (Kansas City, MO). She also leads team member housing across the organization.
Cathy previously served as Park President of Water Safari Resort under Innovative Attraction Management. She began her career as an intern at Walt Disney World and built a distinguished 39-year leadership career with Disney, holding roles at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort and managing Guest Relations at Typhoon Lagoon. She contributed to major resort openings and expansions, including Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, Kidani Village, Bay Lake Tower, Shanghai Disney Resort, and Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa, and helped develop recreation programming for the NBA Bubble during COVID-19.
A native of Carthage, NY, Cathy holds a B.S. in Natural Resources from the University of Vermont. Cathy’s family shares her passion for recreation. Her daughter, Elle, is a teacher and volleyball coach in Orlando. She met her late husband, Vic, at Walt Disney World, and he later owned and operated a successful water filtration company.
